Matters is part of Central Community’s
mission to meet the needs of those who need us most. In
2005 seven of us joined Saddleback Church, in Lake Forest,
CA on an awakening trip to Kenya. Our hearts were touched
by the amazing people and their incredible need. Central
Community staff members John Denton, Student Ministries
and Ken McDaniel, Associate Pastor have made first time
trips to the same region in 2005 to work on a documentary
and to complete our advance work for our 2006 trip respectively.

team is currently at work. Keep them in your prayers! |
| 2/11-It's
been an incredibly busy and fulfilling week. Our building
team completed their work in West Pokot Wednesday evening
and headed back to Kitale Thursday morning. The work was
overwhelming in the heat of the day- steal too hot too
touch- work shifts of no more than 30 minutes- exhaustion
and heat stroke... but God is great and we not only survived
but had the opportunity...read more |
